  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 703 still retains its MegaRear
  • Stagecoach South Midlands Fleet List: 50040/44/50/55/60 have been reregistered T614-8 DWL. 16522 arrived at Oxford on 27th from single door conversion, releasing 16523 to go away for conversion the same day. 16403 also left for Fife that day. Thanks to Ralph Adams for this.

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 702 and 706 have lost their MegaRears, 703/4 tbc. At sometime between 5th July 2003 and April 2004 109's Vodafone MegaRear was changed to match the design on 118/20-1, 941/2. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
  • Reading Transport MegaRears: Corrections are that 928 lost its MegaRear during February and 926 during March. 929 received its new rear during March, and 923 and 924 during April. 701/5 received their Bosch MegaRears specifically on 28th January, 702/3 their Finding Nemo MegaRears on 19th February, and 704/6 their Nescafe MegaRears on 26th February. Improved dates for the application of Vodafone Hot Properties MegaRears. Many thanks to Brian Coney for this.

  • Reading Transport Former Fleet List: Mercedes-Benz Citaro demonstrator BU53 AYA has been on hire since 26th, and is expected to leave on the 4th. Thanks to Derek Bradfield and Mac Head for this.
  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 924 has a new MegaRear for Oracle Shopping (Woman pouted lips 'O'). 929 has lost its Oracle MegaRear in favour of one for Basildon Park, identical to the one previously worn by 926. The bumper from 929's design is currently on 928!
  • Reading Optare Excels: 902, 911 and 944 have received LED displays since the last check
  • Reading Optare Deltas: List of vehicles with LED displays neatened up

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 926 has lost its Basildon Park MegaRear in favour of fleet livery (however see 928 below). Meanwhile Brian Coney reports that 215 returned last week.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: New is 68502, BU04 CCF a second BMC 1100 school bus at Bracknell. Blue Bird 60038 has been withdrawn and has passed to First PMT. The two new Citaros for Slough are BU04 EZF/G, but have yet to receive fleet numbers or enter service. 20207 was withdrawn in April, 20205-7 all passing to First Coaches (Southern National) during May.   • Reading Transport Fleet List: 928 has lost its Oracle MegaRear, but has gained the rear bumper from 926's Basildon Park MegaRear! Correction (27-05-04) - its from 929's Basildon Park MegaRear not 926!

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 471 has received a new MegaRear for Nokia 3200. There are two versions of the Nokia MegaRear, one (471/2) with a female model and "I [heart symbol] U" written over her, and another with an outline of a person on a skateboard (476). 923 has received a new MegaRear for Oracle Shopping (Chef).
  • Reading Transport MegaRears: New photos of rears on 472 and 923 added

  • First Berkshire Fleet List: 23015 has arrived, registered YN04 AJV (out of sequence). Its not yet known exactly when it arrived. M1258 and M1378 appear not to have actually been part of the fleet, but simply at Bracknell for short term storage, having now left. Thanks to Mac Head for this.
  • Stagecoach South Midlands Fleet List: 50058 has a new MegaRear for Pioneer

  • Stagecoach South Midlands Fleet List: Leyland Lynx 29615 (G615 CEF) arrived at Oxford from Stagecoach Transit by 11th for conversion into a driver training vehicle. Ex Hong Kong Olympian 13618 has arrived at Oxford in full Megabus livery, pending registration before entering service to cover for 13601/4/5 that will be going away for upgrades. 52439 is confirmed as now being without a MegaRear.

  • News Page: Major Changes to Thames Travel Network Announced
  • Reading Area Bus Routes: Changes to Arriva service 329 from 6th June and Oxfordshire services from 4th July
  • Reading Transport MegaRears: New photo of rear on 476 added
  • Reading Optare Vectas: New photo of 803 with new owner Central Buses added
  • Stagecoach South Midlands Fleet List: 14933 has been withdrawn from Leamington in addition to all of the Leamington 0709s. Rugby's 40157 and 40654 are also reported to be due for withdrawal soon. 16521-3/5 are eventually to join 16524 at Oxford (16523 is already there), whilst 16526 will remain at Witney. Company cars - 90115 has been withdrawn and replaced with a new vehicle bearing the same registration. The allocation of 90115 and 90962 transferred from Rugby to Oxford at the start of March, 92001 heading in the opposite direction. 91207 is due for replacement soon.

  • Stagecoach South Midlands Fleet List: A third Megabus for Leamington has reportedly now arrived, being 13625 - H511 FRP. Thanks to Chris for this. 16599 has been withdrawn, and once repaired it will transfer elsewhere in the country rather than rejoining the fleet.

  • Stagecoach South Midlands Fleet List: 20557 is yet another with X17 branding, and 40134 has joined the group of withdrawn vehicles at Nuneaton whilst Olympian 16514 has left it, possibly being the first to go for centre door conversion. Thanks to Keith Wood for this. 16523 has transferred to Oxford, and all of the new Tridents are now in service.
