  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 609 has transferred from Reading to Newbury, loosing it's Vitality branding. This has released 123 for transfer to Reading following repaint into Reading Buses cream/maroon at Newbury depot. 113 has been sold to Countrybus (Alansway Coaches), Devon where it joins 112. 114 and 118 have been sold to Heyfordian Travel, 116 and 120 have been sold to Premiere Travel, Nottingham and 962 has been sold to Whites Coaches, Culham.   • Reading Transport Vehicle Types: Updated to 175 vehicles (138 Reading, 21 Newbury, 16 Goldline) from 184 vehicles (145 Reading, 23 Newbury, 16 Goldline) in September
  • Reading Transport Optare Excels: Former 925/7-9/31 were sold to New Adventure Travel, Cardiff. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: 33144 was in service by 24th. Thanks to David Wilder for this.
  • Fleet Buzz (Countywide Travel) Fleet List: New arrivals are HV52 WTC/E from Reading Transport. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: 20226 is confirmed at Leamington. Thanks to Keith Wood for this.

  • First Berkshire Fleet List: 33145/8 are now confirmed in service along with others. Thanks to Martin and Ian Mihell for this.
  • Courtney Coaches Fleet List: A new addition is a Mercedes Atego fuel tanker X952 UMA. Thanks to Ian Mihell for this.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 22914 received Wantage Duo branding on the rear yesterday evening. 50114 departed the fleet sometime between 20th and 22nd, whilst the final VanHool 50219 arrived on 22nd with the final Neoplan 50122 departing.

22-10-09:

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 601 has been sold, 123/4 have probably been sold and 961-4 have been advertised for sale. To update on reserve/withdrawn vehicles 116/20, 602/4/6 and 961-4 have all been recently confirmed still at Reading and 124 still at Newbury.
  • Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: 795/7 were confirmed in service at the start of the month. Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 50218 arrived on or around 19th. 50101/02/05-10/15/16/18/21/23/25 had been withdrawn by 14th, leaving just 50114 and 50122 as emergency spares to cover 50218/9.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: 20213 has gone from driver training to normal service at Rugby in place of 27502 which has gone into reserve whilst a cracked axle is repaired. 20220 and 20224 have gone from reserve to normal service at Leamington, whilst 20226 is also officially allocated to Leamington rather than Stratford (as per 20225). Megabus 52622/23/41-43 have transferred to Stagecoach East Midlands.

  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 34471 has transferred from Oxford to Banbury. Thanks to Chris Maxfield for this. 22926 has a new MegaRear for Fostering & Adoption. 22931 and probably 22916 have lost their MegaRears for Helen & Douglas House. 18129 has spent a few days in service in Oxford mainly on route X30 (but also route 3 on 9th as below), but has now been withdrawn for debranding.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: 31350 had transferred from Rugby to Nuneaton by 13th. Thanks to Keith Wood for this.

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 963 has lost its ColourBus livery for Trunkwell in favour of full fleet livery. 123/4 and 602/4 are confirmed to be still in service. The latest fleet list from Reading Buses shows that 112 and 603 have left the fleet, plus a number of incorrectly allocated vehicles.
  • Reading Transport Wright Solars: 1032 and 1034 have both now received the new Green Park FastTrack livery
  • Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: 904-7 were withdrawn and sold to Western Greyhound in September. The private registrations have been retained. Withdrawn 629 was sold to Travelmaster in September.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 50216/17/22 arrived on 6th and 50226 by 9th. Withdrawn Witney 18130 has seen occasional use in service at Banbury in full S1/S2 livery to assist with overloading on route 489. Withdrawn Witney 18129 has moved from Banbury to Oxford for de-branding, but was used in service on route 3 on 9th still in full route S1/S2 livery. 18129/30 are still expected to transfer to Stagecoach Fife shortly.

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 1001/3/4 have also lost their route 4/5/6 branding, and 1001-4 had all returned to service with Newbury Buses Vitality branding by 5th (1001 by 3rd). Thanks to David Wilder for this. 721 gained red Reading Buses logos on its green Newbury Buses livery sometime after 26th September and before 4th October 2009. Thanks to Brian Coney and James Cusworth for this.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: 23011 is now based at Reading following refurbishment and repaint into plain white. It will receive new RailAir branding soon. Existing RailAir branded 23009 is receiving the same treatment at the moment. Thanks to John Wheeler for this.

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 1035 had received the new Green Park FastTrack livery by 30th September. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 712 has been repainted into cream/maroon with red Reading Buses logos following the loss of its Southern Electric ColourBus livery. Thanks to James Cusworth for this. The decision to reduce the Loddon Bridge Park and Ride has been 'called in' by Wokingham District Council, meaning that the service will not be reduced for the time being. The decision came just in time to stop the first Olympus going away for repaint.
  • Reading Transport MegaRears: New photo of the rear on 1030 added
  • Reading Transport Vehicle Types: Page updated to 184 vehicles (145 Reading, 23 Newbury, 16 Goldline) from 191 vehicles (137 Reading, 33 Newbury, 21 Goldline) in February
  • Reading Transport Hestair Duple 425s: NEW PAGE! with photo of former 248. Thanks to Tony Cutler for this photo.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: 33142/5 arrived on 29th or 30th September. 33153 arrived on 1st and will replace 33146. Finally 33141 arrived on 2nd October. 33142/45/53 (and probably 33141) were refurbished at MCV and have retained their London offside wheelchair positions and have LED destination displays all round. The others have nearside wheelchair spaces and manual blinds. 41267 is likely to transfer from Bracknell and 41299 from Slough back to London shortly. 34277 is to be withdrawn soon. The Tridents are likely to replace 60754, 41130, 41133 and possibly some of the route 190 branded Scanias. Thanks to Mat Wooll for this. Greenline 23011 has been repainted plain white. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 42343 has lost its ColourBus livery for Southern Electric in favour of a new ColourBus livery for Street Safety. Thanks to Peter Coney for this.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 22932/3 have been repainted after loosing their ColourBus liveries for Southern Electric. Withdrawn 18129/30 are to transfer to Stagecoach Fife shortly.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: 20223/4 are now in reserve at Leamington. 31364 has transferred from Nuneaton to Rugby. Thanks to Keith Wood for this. 54061 is KX59 DLU and was in service by 26th September. Thanks to Dave for this. 54057-9 are also now confirmed in service.
