50224/5 arrived today and are now ready for service. 22932/3 have lost
their ColourBus liveries for Southern Electric in favour of fleet
livery.
29-09-09:
Reading Transport Fleet List: 721
transferred from Reading to Newbury on 26th. In addition 118/20 have
been withdrawn and moved to Reading on 28th/26th respectively with 607/8
transferring back from Reading to Newbury on 26th, and with their
Vitality branding removed. 116 has transferred from Newbury to Reading,
whilst Reading 112 has been sold. 1002 had lost its route 4/5/6 branding
by 27th, with 1001/3/4 to follow shortly. 1001-4 will then be used on
Vitality services along with 1005-11, and generic Spectras used on the
4/6. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 1036 had received the new Green
Park FastTrack livery by 28th. Thanks to Steve Wickens for this.
925/7-9/31 have now also been sold and were collected on 25th.
Oxford Bus Company Fleet List:
792-4 are now in service. Thanks to Chris Maxfield for this. 640-3 now
have Brookesbus Q-buster branding.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
50223 entered service late on 27th after attending Showbus. Revised
dates into service are 24th for 50220 and 26th for 50221.
Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
31352 has transferred back from Rugby to Nuneaton. Leamington 20225 has
been in use at Stratford with Unibus 16515 having spent part of the

transferred from Bracknell to Slough on the evening of 4th. 33144
arrived at Bracknell either today or late yesterday. Thanks to Mat Wooll

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
50220/1 arrived on 22nd and entered service on 23rd. 50223 is expected
tomorrow and to attend Showbus on 26th before entering service. 50118 is
being prepared for departure. 18127/8 have now left Witney for
Cheltenham, whilst 18129/30 have been withdrawn and are in store at
Banbury. 47236 has been withdrawn and transferred to Stagecoach Wales
following the loss of route B7 in Banbury in May and an extended period
in use at Oxford. The transfer of 34471/2 from Oxford to replace Banbury
31361/2/5 is on hold for the time being to provide additional
flexibility in Oxford following the City Centre bus stop changes in July
(the third vehicle at Banbury already being surplus to requirements
following the arrival of 34467-70 to replace 20004-6 earlier in the
year). Van ML09 NRF appears to have been an incorrect report.

was sold to Mid West (dealer) and then to Sanders, Holt in May. Thanks

HRA had been returned to Dawson Rentals by July. Thanks to Bus Fare

Reading & Wokingham Coaches Fleet List:
New in June was Mercedes-Benz Tourismo BK09 WTA. Scania K124EB6 / Irizar
RE53 JAK was also acquired during June. Another vehicle not previously
reported here is Setra H49 ECW which was reregistered GIG 7568 in June.
XIL 7397 was sold to Cobus (dealer) in March 2008, eventually passing to
Moley, Crossmaglen by June 2009. M238 XVE was sold to Moseley (delaer)
in June and KX53 SKE to Evobus (dealer) in June. Thanks to Bus Fare

Stewarts of Mortimer Fleet List:
New in July was Mercedes-Benz / Killbeggan YN09 HZC named Ben William,
whilst previously reported YN09 HZG is named Nathanial Mark. YN55 KWE
was sold to Esker in June. NIL 2544 was scrapped in August 2008, M911
VHG had departed by March 2009 and YN08 FFD returned to Esker on 10th

Weavaway Travel Fleet List: WA05
DFJ/G were converted from C53Ft to C70F in May and June respectively. In
June BKZ 70 was reregistered to C5 OXF, WA05 JWM to BKZ 70, NBZ/DZ 70 to
C3/4 OXF, X70 OXF to C6 OXF, CW51/52 TOP to C7/8 OXF and WA05 DFG/J to
NBZ/DZ 70 and no longer appear to be for sale. The new Abingdon Coaches
fleet name is reported to be to replace the Oxford International name,
with additional vehicles being C3-6 OXF and YN07 LKJ. Thanks to Bus Fare

have been applied to all of these vehicles.
Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
Reserve 20220 is back in service at Leamington. Thanks to Keith Wood for
this. 20220/3/4 still remain officially in reserve. The official fleet
card also shows 31364/5 transferring from Nuneaton to Rugby but the
actual moves appear to have been 31350/2 as previously reported. 33911
has transferred from Stratford to Leamington. 52617-9/21 have
transferred to Stagecoach in Lincolnshire (Skegness depot) and
52622/3 are in reserve. New are Plaxton Panthers 54057-9 KX59 DLJ/K/N
which are being prepared for service.
Reading Transport Fleet List: 605
remains at Newbury mainly for route 4 and retains the "Delivering
Transport Excellence" strap lines rather than receiving Vitality
branding. A couple of examples are likely to return from Reading to
Newbury to displace Solos - Wright Solars will be freed up at Reading
following the withdrawal of route 3 later this month and a reduced
service on Council sponsored route 500 from October (the double deckers
going onto route 6). 721 and 974 remain in use at Newbury.
Weavaway Travel Fleet List: YN56
EZW and YN07 LKK now have Abingdon Coaches fleetnames and appear to be
based at Culham.

Reading Transport Fleet List: 605
has lost its ColourBus livery for Southern Electric in favour of fleet
livery. Thanks to R Haines for this. 712 has lost its ColourBus livery
for South Electric in favour of old fleet livery. Thanks to James
Cusworth for this. 1033 has been repainted into a new green and white
Green Park FastTrack livery but still with a yellow front. Thanks to

601-4, 606-10 are now based at Reading but retain full Newbury Buses
identities.
First Berkshire Fleet List: 32900
has been reregistered 676 DYE and 32902 to 810 DYE with withdrawn
64795/7 presumably reverting back to their previous marks. Thanks to

Registrations for the final 11 VanHools 50216-26 added. Thanks to
Malcolm Crowe for this. 18127/8 have been withdrawn and are to transfer
to Cheltenham after the S-Series branding has been removed. 15533/6
arrived by 11th. 15533-6
entered service on 14th and 15537 soon after.
Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
Withdrawn Stratford 20223/4 are likely to have been reinstated to
service at Leamington to replace 33910/4 following a period in reserve.

New is Optare Solo 54 MX09 MJJ. Thanks to Derek Bradfield for this. This
appears to have replaced Vario 37 which has left the fleet. Also new in
August was Volkswagen car RF09 BWB replacing HS06 ZTE.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
VanHool L555 SGB arrived on loan from South Gloucestershire Bus and
Coach on 24th August to provide short term additional cover for the
National Express fleet. It was still in use on 8th September.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
15534 arrived in Oxford for preparation yesterday and 15535 today.
Witney 18127-30 are expected to transfer to Cheltenham early next week
once 15533-7 enter service on 14th. 18198/9 received branding for route
S5 on 5th/6th.

16618/20 have lost their MegaRears for UniRider, 16618 following a full
repaint. Rugby 34123/33 have been branded for new route 72 to Daventry.
