  • Reading Transport Fleet List: Withdrawn/sold 104/5 were both still at Great Knollys Street on 29th, but out of service, and 108 was still in service at Newbury.
  • Reading Area Bus Routes: Brought up to date with all service changes 21 April 2008 - 30 January 2009 and archived

29-12-08:

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: Reading 104 and Newbury 108 have been sold to Clarke's. 210/1 have been returned to Scania (dealer), but actually went directly to new owners Chalkwell Coach Hire. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 1014 has returned from repaint in generic silver livery.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: New is Optare Solo 53065 YJ58 CEV in Slough Trading Estate Hoppa livery. Thanks to Stephen Le Bras for this. This replaces 53053 which went to Optare in November.
  • Reading Transport Leyland Titans: Following the collapse of Coachman Travel 73 was exported to British Bus, Spring Valley, Phoenix, USA in July 2008. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.

23-12-08:

  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 18398 has its route 27 branding removed yesterday and 18399 today. Thanks to Chris Maxfield for this. This leaves the whole double deck fleet now debranded.

  • Weavaway Travel: New photo of RX58 KHH added. It wears the registration SN58 EOZ which was removed prior to entering service on 22nd December. Thanks to Derek Bradfield for this.

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: Light green 1013 has been repainted into generic silver livery. 1014 is currently away being repainted, and is expected back towards the end of the week.

14-12-08:

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: A few days after returning from Stewarts, 211 returned there in exchange for 214 which has suffered accident damage. Thanks to Bus Fare magazine for this. It is not yet clear whether the two will be swapped back.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: Fire damaged 53053 went to Optare on 10th November. Thanks to Bus Fare magazine for this.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: 31044 has a new MegaRear for Bicycle Safety. Thanks to Keith Wood for this.

08-12-08:

  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: 20215/6 are now designed as training vehicles at Nuneaton and Rugby respectively, with 52020 and 52031 to be withdrawn for sale. Arrivals from Stagecoach South are Volvo B6s 31043/46/49/50/51, and from Stagecoach West Dennis Dart SLFs 33910/11. All are currently in reserve, with the B6s undergoing refurbishment before entering service.
