December 2008 < Last Month | News Archive | Next Month > Pop-Art Adverts to Reach New Users 06-12-08 10th November saw Reading Buses launch a new advertising campaign to capture the imagination and attention of people they most want to reach - non-users and infrequent users. Customer research led to three different eye catching pop-art style adverts that now feature on the side of 18 buses across the fleet. The first advert highlights frequency, and some of the route 5 OmniDekkas including 809 have a specially modified version. The frequency advert as applied to buses branded for other routes, featured on 853. The second advert advertises the Busabout ticket, and is featured on 801 above. 842 demonstrates the Busabout advert on a route branded Olympus. The third advert advertises weekly tickets, and is featured on 858 above. A few examples actually crept out early on Sunday 9th November whilst the others were having their adverts applied. In total 4 OmniDekkas (801, 808, 809, 810) and 14 Olympuses (841/2/4/5/6/9, 850/2/3/5/6/7/8/9) have received the adverts. < Last Month | News Archive | Next Month > |
