Reading Transport Fleet List: 2
has been repainted into Vodafone red, with 1-5 to be repainted at a rate
of one every two weeks. Vodafone 9-12 will be repainted plain white in
reserve order for temporary use on the new South Reading contract until
the gas buses enter service on 5th May. 12 is currently at Hants &
Dorset trim for repaint, whilst 1 & 3-5 are now in reserve. 207 was
named George Strong on 7th. 208 has been repainted into Purple 17 livery
and was back in service by 24th. 123 has been advertised for sale.
Carousel Buses Fleet List:
801 appears to have been reregistered C1 WYC and gained fleetnames and
branding for Line 4. The resulting new registration on 471 is unknown.
Registrations for the Volvo Olympians corrected.
Stewarts of Mortimer Fleet List:
Registrations of some of the new Thames Valley Park Citaros are
BF62 JZL/M/P. Thanks to Mark Chandler for this.
Weavaway Travel: Weavaway are
taking over Tappins Coaches, currently owned by Heyfordian, from 30th
September. The sale includes 33 vehicles, with Weavaway's coaching fleet
expected to move to Tappins' Didcot site, and Heyfordian's West
Berkshire local bus contracts which were operated by Tappins
transferring to Weavaway at their Greenham site.
Weavaway Travel Fleet List: The
first Neoplan Starliner has been registered 327 RFC. The second was
expected on 25th and will be registered MAC 96P. Thanks to David Wilder

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
22767/9 arrived back from Stagecoach South on 27th, and possibly 22761/2
as well. Volvo B9R / Caetano Levante FJ61 GZE has arrived on short term
loan from South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach to provide cover on
National Express.

Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: 850
has also transferred to Thames Travel, and is the unbranded vehicle as
apposed to 851. 900 is expected to transfer in from Thames Travel to
Oxford Bus Company in return. Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
59211 has transferred to Stagecoach East Kent (Dover) with 53701
returning to service from reserve after over 12 months. 22944-8 have
also transferred to Stagecoach East Kent (Eastbourne), 22944/5/8
arriving by 17th. 52211 has been sold to Ensignbus (dealer). 15434/6/7
should now have lost their route S3 branding.
Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
10032-41 are in reserve having returned from Stagecoach UK Bus Events,
and are to enter service from 30th. 15764-6 have returned from loan to
Stagecoach East and 16223 has transferred from Stratford to Leamington.
Withdrawn 16020 is now for disposal, Rugby 16458, Leamington 16618,
Rugby reserve 20213/4/6, Leamington 20226/7 and Rugby 33458 have been
withdrawn for disposal. 18198 has returned to service at Rugby from
reserve, 22920 has transferred to Rugby from Northampton and 33459-60
have transferred to Leamington from Northampton. Rugby Megabus 52567 has
gone into reserve, loaned 53030/1, 54029/31/32 have departed and 80106
is presumed to have returned to Ulsterbus. 52659 returned to the active
fleet at some point after being withdrawn at Leamington on 5th March,
and 53028 left at some point.
Reading Transport Fleet List: 804
has gained the new ColourBus livery for Vodafone. Thanks to Martin for
this. 803 is still in fleet livery.
First Berkshire Fleet List: 33142
has gained a new MegaRear for Just Tiles. Thanks to James Cusworth for

Double Deckers: 1108's leather seat coverings were replaced with
moquette in August 2012 and 1109 between 6th May and 2nd August,

high specification MAN / Neoplan Tourismos are in the process of being
delivered, whilst W30/40 OOW have been re-registered RX56 YDK/L pending
imminent sale, and 327 RFC and MAC 96P re-registered W30/40 OOW. Thanks

Reading Transport Fleet List: 802
has gained a new ColourBus livery for Vodafone. Thanks to Peter Coney
for this. 712 returned from loan to Newbury in mid August, with 804
going on loan in replacement. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 803 has
also gained the new ColourBus livery for Vodafone, and went on loan to
Newbury on 6th, with 804 returning on 7th. Thanks to Pete Baggett for
this. The order for 19 gas buses has been increased to 20 to cover an
increased requirement on the new South Reading contract. Silver 208 will
shortly go away for repaint into Purple 17 livery for a frequency
increase to every 7 minutes from 24th September.
Reading Transport MegaRears: 202
lost its MegaRear for Just Tiles by 31st August. Thanks to Barnaby
Frowen for this. The similar rear on 844 remains in place, and has now
gained "Sale Now On" lettering. 819 and two others have gained MegaRears
for Reading Football Club.
Carousel Buses Fleet List: 521
transferred to Thames Travel on 2nd, whilst loaned 481 and DAF976 have
been withdrawn from Thames Travel for sale. Thanks to John Hammond for
this. 423/4 have been repainted into Orange Route livery, and 930 has
returned from loan to Thames Travel. Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this.
First Berkshire Fleet List: 33153
returned to Bracknell from loan to Slough in July, whilst 42339 went on
loan from Slough to Bracknell in July and returned in August. Thanks to

Oxford Bus Company Fleet List:
851-4 transferred to Thames Travel from 2nd along with route X2. Thanks
to John Hammond for this. 852-4 appear to have route branding. Withdrawn
29-46 were used on Olympic work over the summer with London General and
Blue Triangle, some in plain white and others in unbranded Espress
green. 35-41 have lost their ?1 OXF registrations. 795/8 have been
renumbered 964/5 and reregistered L/P1 OXF, but it is unknown which is

Due to the timing of taxation, 15832 has become OU62 CHO, 15833 OU62 CJO
and 15838 OU62 C?? rather than their intended marks. 15431-3 have been
withdrawn and debranded for transfer to Stagecoach South West
imminently. 15434-9 will stay for use on route 3 from next week, plus
certain journeys on route X30/31. Six 51-registered MANs are to be
withdrawn as a result of this, five from next week.
