Reading Transport Fleet List: A
further acquisition was to be Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 DU61 FVY (LC61
WYN) from Lloyds Coaches, however Lloyds have since decided to retain
the vehicle. Training vehicle 311 was sold to Rotala in late August.
Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 212/3 have been repainted into Lion
livery as expected, 213 loosing its MegaRear for Pack Send. 212 was back
in service in full Lion livery by 28th. 214/7 gained full Lion livery
for the official launch on 27th.
Carousel Buses Fleet List: 553
has been transferred in from Thames Travel and reregistered C3 WYC.
Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this. Presumably 803 has been reregistered
back to YJ56 WUC.
Courtney Buses Fleet List:
Correcting the August update, Mercedes RK15 DNX was not acquired. In
addition, Optare Tempos YJ10 EXS/T are X1260 models rather than X1200.
Oxford Bus Company Fleet List:
251-4 are now regarded as official acquisitions instead of loans from
Southern Vectis. Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this. Withdrawn 94 and 99
have been sold to Travellers' Choice. Thanks to Gez for this.
Thames Travel Fleet List: 831/2 had
returned to Oxford Bus Company by the end of August. In exchange 866/8
have transferred in gaining Connector livery, with 865 due for

Weavaway Travel Fleet List: A146
OFR carries Ribble fleetnames rather than Noah Vale. Thanks to Derek

gained a new MegaRear for Fostering & Adoption, whilst Banbury 34470/2
have gone into reserve at Oxford/Banbury respectively. Thanks to Martin

Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
Following the creation of Stagecoach Midlands in 2010 and it's continued
development as a combined unit, and the distance of it from the core Bus
Zone area, it no longer seems relevant to keep this list up to date.

Reading Transport Fleet List: The
identity for the 4/X4 which replaces the 90 from 31st August was
confirmed as the Lion on 5th August. The colours are the reverse of the
Leopard 3 colours. 803 has been repainted into generic silver/grey,
returning to service by 5th. 214 was back in service in base Lion livery
by 9th and 215 by 15th. 651/2 went away on 17th for repaint into two-tone Blue Loddon Bridge
Park & Ride livery, ahead of a re-launch and move to the new Winnersh
Triangle site in October. As at 17th 212/3 & 1210/1 were also away at
Thornton's for refurbishment and 802/7-9 at South Eastern Coachworks for
deep refurbishment into Claret "Spritzers" livery, these latter examples
not being expected back until mid September. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
1210 re-entered service on 22nd in near full
Lion livery with just some lettering on the offside missing.
Reading Transport Former Vehicle Fleet List: A
series of demonstrators have been in use recently - 102 BV14 TZY Mercedes Citaro K,
103 BP14 FJZ Mercedes Citaro and 105 LTZ 1586 New Routemaster. Optare
Metrocity YJ64 DWK has also arrived and is expected to enter service
next week.
Reading Transport ColourBuses:
861 gained a livery for Rugby in Berkshire on approx 24th, being
launched on 25th July.
Reading Transport Alexander Dennis
Enviro 300SGs: 432 finally lost its branding for Peppard Common
between 23rd and 26th July. Thanks to James Cusworth for this. This was
almost exactly one year since the service was changed.
Aldermaston Coaches Fleet List: A
new addition is King Long XMQ690 BX11 HHC. It has been given fleet
number 3, presumably replacing existing 3 YN03 WYJ. Thanks to Brian
Coney for this.
Courtney Buses Fleet List: A new
addition in July was KX58 GUU, and
YJ11 OJK remains in the fleet. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. Enviro
300 KX10 DVG was in use by 19th. Thanks to Paul Blackman for this. YJ08 PJV,
YJ08 PJY, YJ11 OJK, YJ62 FCC and YJ13 HJX have been repainted into Lemon
& Dark blue livery (PJY originally being light blue, the others plain
white). YJ62 FMA and YJ62 FEU have been repainted into Yellow and Red from Green
& White, with YJ10 MBV/X repainted Green & White in their place.
Renault Scenic KG02 JJE has also been added to the ancillary fleet.

First Berkshire Fleet List:
Enviro200 44507 transferred in to Slough from First Hampshire &
Dorset in early July in exchange for Optare Solos 53052. Similar
44504/505/560/561/562 transferred from Bracknell to Slough during July.
44565-7 all have MegaRears for East Berkshire College. Thanks to David
Fuller for this. 33142/5, 53065 and 63190-2 have transferred to First Hampshire &
Dorset, along with 33147 which has been repainted into First Urban
livery with Berkshire logos, but looks unlikely to return. 33142/5/7 were in use in Portsmouth for Amercia's Cup shuttles in late July.
64021/30 have transferred from Bracknell to Slough. 42343
went for disposal on approx 2 July, withdrawn 65620/4 had also departed
by 30th July and 65621-3/5 by mid August, whilst 40721 was withdrawn during July
and 42339 in early August. 20809 is currently away for repaint.
Greenline spare 32348 appears to have left the fleet to an unknown

20611 gained the RailAir & you're there livery with
Plymouth to Pisa rear by 22nd July and 20806 Swindon to Sydney rear by
22nd August. Thanks to Martin for this.
Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: 660/1
are in red Oxford Bus Company livery. 656/61 were in service on 14th and
657-60 by 21st.

new Streetdecks are 651-61. 1583/4 have been renumbered 253/4, with

Thames Travel Fleet List: 864 has
transferred in from Oxford Bus Company, and was in service in Connector
livery by 8th July. Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this. 120 has
transferred in from Carousel Buses for route BB1. 865-8 are expected
from Oxford Bus Company following entry into service of further
Streetdecks and repaint into Connector livery. Loaned 828/30-2 from
Oxford are then likely to transfer to Carousel Buses. Fiat Van 993 has

In the process of delivery are
Enviro 400s 10431-42 for Oxford route 1 and Enviro300s 28742-6 to Gold
specification for Banbury route S4. Also on order are Envrio200s 37401-5

in service by 31st July. Thanks to Ralph Adams for this. The first of
the E400s arrived on 21 July. 15434-5 transferred to South West on 2nd
with 15436-9 being prepared for Stagecoach South East. 10067-71 have
lost their Headington Connect branding, being replaced on route 700 by
E400Hs. Van 93040 has replaced
95185.
Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
39680/7 have been repainted out of Matrix livery. Thanks to Keith Wood
for this. New additions are Dennis Trident / Alexander ALX400
17486/511/567/613/614 at Rugby, Leamington, Stratford, Rugby and
Stratford respectively with Stratford 16683, Rugby 16685 and Leamington
16873 going into reserve. 1 Also acquired are 17493 plus 17494/527/575
for conversion to open top. Rugby 34491 has gone into reserve with 47038
returning to service. 36951 has transferred from Leamington to Stratford
with Stratford 47010 going into reserve. Stratford reserve 47128 went into service at
Nuneaton in June before going into reserve, whilst Leamington reserve
16223 has been sold. Nuneaton 34496 has transferred to Corby with 39692
returning from loan to Northampton. Rugby Megabus 59302-5 entered service
in June, with 59303 transferring to Stagecoach South East in July and
reserve Megabus Europe 55011-6 reregistered with UK registrations and
put back into service in July. 54220/1 are also redesignated for Megabus
Europe from UK operations. Car 91622 has
replaced 92304.

Reading Transport Fleet List: New
additions are Dennis Trident / Plaxton Presidents 521-3 to replace ex
Lothian 551/53/57/58/59/69. They have entered service in plain white on
Tube Strike replacement services. 1107 has also lost its Green Bus
branding following the withdrawal of the RC1 service. 217 has followed
216 returning from refurbishment and repaint into base livery for route
4. The new identity is "The Lion" and is to be applied just prior to the
launch of the new timetable on 31 August. 1210/11 are away for
refurbishment at Thorntons Bus, whilst 802/7-9 are at South East
Coachworks for refurbishment which has included the removal of their
seats. 805/6 are in use on route 90 pending repaint.
Carousel Buses Fleet List: New
is Wright Streetlite 401 SM15 HWC with Link Uxbridge - Heathrow
branding.
