  • News Page: BTS Annual Tour with photos of 3 and 38 (2)
  • News Page: Reading Buses Annual Open Day & Project Vroom with photos of 420 (2) (3) and 1210/11
  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 209/11-7 and 1210/11 are to be used to allow Reading Buses to take on the operation of route 90 from First under a new brand from 31 August. Buses from the generic fleet will be used to run route 90 as it is from 26 July. 802/7-9 are being heavily refurbished to take over route 21A from 214-7 from September, whilst 803/5/6/10 are being repainted into generic livery. 839/49/61 are in reserve. During the summer a number of demonstration buses, including two different length Mercedes Citaros on the Loddon Bridge Park & Ride, followed by an Optare Metrocity, also to be used on the Park & Ride, followed by a week in Newbury. During mid August a Wright New Routemaster will be used as an additional vehicle on route 17. A Wright Streetdeck is also to be trialled and a Vantage hybrid-electric repowered vehicle. The purpose of all of these is to help shape future vehicle purchases.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: Bracknell depot is to close on 28 August. 68522 returned from First Hampshire & Dorset in May. 20613 has gained the RailAir & you're there livery with Didcot to Dubai rear. 33147 has gone on loan to first Hampshire & Dorset following dispatch for repaint. It remains to be seen whether it will now return. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
  • Reading Transport: Reading Buses logo updated
  • Reading Transport Scania OmniDekkas: 803 went on loan to Newbury in June to cover for 801. 802/3/5/9 lost their route 5/6 branding by the end of May. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 810 re-entered service in a slightly amended version of the generic livery with colour bar across the destination display and wording "your usual coloured bus is being serviced today so this is one of our spares" on 7th July. Thanks to James Cusworth for this.
  • Reading Transport East Lancs Olympus: The rear branding on 855 has been updated to reflect the 10 minute frequency on route 33 introduced last September. At least 859 appears unchanged as yet. Thanks to James Cusworth for this.
  • Thames Travel Fleet List: 863 and loaned 862 have transferred from Oxford Bus Company and been repainted into new Connector livery for Didcot - Harwell Campus services which were improved from 6th July. Thanks to Ralph Adams for this.
