Reading Heritage Travel's former Reading Mainline Routemaster No. 15 appeared for the ninth year running for the tenth Rail-Bus railway / bus collectors fair at Rivermead on Saturday 26th, a week earlier than usual due to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. The building work on Station Hill meant that the service departed from the old Bus Station this year, allowing a different (but not very picturesque) photographic opportunity to previous years. The organisers are considering moving the event a new location in Bracknell for 1st June next year.
No.15 at the Old Bus Station. Bizarrely, there is a bus stop post which is suitably located for rear platform vehicles, although the service officially used stop WG just in front.
