Travel Coventry Livery

583 on 15 February 2003 (43375 bytes)

583 looking immaculate after just being fully repainted into Travel Coventry livery. It is about to pass the railway station on 15th February 2003.

6009 on 23rd June 2005, one of eleven originally purchased for Birmingham route 67. The batch were cascaded to Coventry for route 21 in 2004 upon the arrival of new Scania OmniCitys for the 67.

4205 on 4 January 2003 (48291 bytes)

4205 in the City Centre on 4th January 2003, not long after repaint into Travel Coventry livery. This bus was one of an initial batch of 20 Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Tridents allocated to Coventry.

4397 on 4 January 2003 (53935 bytes)

Travel Coventry took delivery of 9 further Dennis Tridents in December 2002 that were used to launch the Travel Coventry brand. One of the batch, 4397 is seen on route 5 on 4th January 2003.

Special Liveries

This is Wright Crusader 0586 on Corporation Street on Corporation Street on 12 December 2001. It is in the maroon Park and Ride livery for the North Park and Ride service.

1542 on 14 June 2001 (29948 bytes)

Mercedes Benz low floor integral 1542 in Coventry on 14th June 2001. It is in Primeline livery, and operates on a quality bus corridor along with competitor Stagecoach in Warwickshire.

This is former MCW Metrobus Mk I 2112 on 14th June 2001 at Coventry Bus Station.

This is MCW Metrobus Mk II 2867 at Coventry Pool Meadow bus station on 14th June 2001. This bus wears traditional Coventry corporation colours.

2877 has a MegaSide advert for Uni Qlo, seen on 18th January 2003.

4223 on 1st May 2002 (38160 bytes)

4223 was one of two buses repainted in early 2002 into a special livery for the Queen's Golden Jubilee. It is seen here at Warwick University on 1st May 2002, and was repainted into Travel Coventry livery in January 2003.

This is Mercedes Benz low floor integral 1608 at Coventry bus Station on 14th June 2001 in standard TWM low floor bus livery.

2462 on 27 October 2000 (24599 bytes)

This is MCW Metrobus Mk II 2462 at Warwick University on 27th October 2000. It is operating route number 12, one of the most frequent routes in Coventry during term times. Note the diagonal yellow stripe branding that was applied to most of the Metrobuses in Coventry at one time.

This is MCW Metrobus Mk II 2970 in Coventry. This batch's destination boxes have a larger destination box that most of the others, but the blinds used are standard size.

TWM took delivery of 100 new Dennis Tridents with Alexander ALX 400 bodywork over summer 2001. 4208 is one of twenty that were allocated to Coventry from new, and is seen here at Warwick University on the 12E on 3rd October 2001.
