March 2009 < Last Month | News Archive | Next Month > New Livery for Reading Solos 28-03-09 Reading Buses have unveiled a new livery for their small remaining fleet of Optare Solos. The first vehicle to be treated is former Newbury 111, which along with sisters 109 and 125 has been refurbished with the current blue/purple seat moquette. 109 will be liveried for the Kennet Island shuttle to replace older 107, whilst 125 is expected to return to Newbury for Vodafone services. 111 on route 142 today, normally the home of Goldline Solo 122. Reading Solos in the West Midlands 15-03-09 Three of Reading's S-registration Optare Solos have recetnly been sold to companies in the West Midlands area, and local bus photographer Ben Morroll has been tacking them down.
